Wrestler Info
Name: Richard Rose
Height/Weight: 5'11"/206lbs
Hometown: Christ's Crown, Arizona

Gimmick: Richard is as arrogant as a man with his looks, charisma and skill should be. Although beneath this shallow exterior lie some rather psychotic tendancies all stemming from his undying hatred of his father.
Theme Music: 30 Seconds to Mars - Year Zero
Entrance:
Bright crimson lights flash as the screen goes dark... the ruby symbol of the rose flashes and spins violently before transitioning itself to solid gold as the first chords of 30 Seconds to Mars' "Year Zero" echo throughout the arena.

Richard Rose steps out from behind the curtain with arrogance dripping from him. Richard is carrying a singapore cane in his left hand and a bottle of water in his right. He takes one sip of the water and flings it into the mass of bodies encompassing the arena. Ruby follows, wearing a red and black sundress, and stands behind him. Rose holds his arms high in the air and Ruby wraps her arms around his waist, for all the photographers in the crowd.

Ruby makes her way to ringside and Rose follows, letting his singapore cane trail against the crowd control barriers. Ruby climbs the stairs and enters the ring through the bottom rope. Rose tosses aside his staff and slides under the bottom from the arena floor. The ring lights mutate from the beautiful ruby to a sullen crimson as Richard climbs the second rope and basks in all his glory.

Richard climbs down from his poise as the lights return to standard after his rather theatrical entrance. Ruby leans in to Rose for a kiss and he complies as she exits the ring and the music fades.

Appearance: Rose's hairstyle is often changing but is often very short or medium length with blond highlights to cover his natural dark colour. Richard's back is covered in scar tissue from previous battles when he wrestled in the Indy feds under the moniker "Black Tokyo".
Rose also has a tattoo of the virgin mary on his right bicep, not because Richard is particularly religious, more to do with how he is honouring his deceased mother.
Short black tights with what can only be described as red Plasma on the rim by his legs and waist. Black boots, Black kneepads, Black kickpads with a red rim. Wears two black elbow pads and white "glove" wrist tape.
Outside the ring, often wears black jeans, a dark red leather jacket and also a large pair of aviators

Wrestling Style: Rose is very cocky during his matches, often letting his opponent know how much better than them Rose thinks he is. This leads to quite an amusing scene whenever Rose thinks he has lost control over the match, he loses control of his temper. Very often Rose will watch and wait, while his ego is not too big to beg for mercy to get in a cheap shot.
Three Strengths:
- Endurance - Opponents have considered murder as adequate means to defeat Richard Rose, due to his amazing endurance.
- Adaptability - Rose can easily adapt himself to any situation that comes along, be it Hardcore, Highflying, Technical or multiperson conflict, Rose can think it out and adapt accordingly.
- Inventive - Rose often creates new moves or uses his surroundings to find the best (and simplest) ways to defeat an opponent.
Three Weaknesses:
- Childish attitude clouds his vision.
- Due to his declining mental state, Rose is often very susceptable to mind games from opponents.
- Nagging shoulder injury is well known to all and is like a big red X to opponents.
Bio:
The long and convulted story of Richard Rose ties in with that of Ruby Grey and the rest of the Huachuca City Gang. In the late eighties, in a small town in Texas, Mary Rose found herself the heir to her father's sugar business. Mary was a southern gal who fell in and out of love far too easy and one fateful night, things changed forever.
Returning from a late night prayer session one night, Mary was stunned to see a young man sitting by the side of the road, bloody, beaten and in dire need of help. Being the good christian she was, Mary picked up the man and took him home and nursed him back to health. The man explained that he had been set up for a crime he didn't commit and that those responsable had left him on by the roadside to die. An instant bond between Mary and the stranger formed, with Mary pledging to help in anyway she could.
Mary soon fell deeply in love with the stranger and the two of them (Mary, half-reluctantly) plotted to make off into the sunset with a portion of her father's wealth. The two did make it as far as an out of the way motel in Darkest Louisiana, before the stranger abandoned Mary, taking all the money. She heard a few weeks later that they caught the son of a bitch trying to sneak into Cuba. Mary returned to her father who disowned his own daughter for being so foolish and cast her out into the world - alone.
A few months later, Mary gave birth to a son at Christ's Crown, Arizona.
Richard Rose was loathed by his mother. The boy served as a constant reminder of her being tricked by the stranger and Mary began a steady decline into madness, with only her hated son there to nurse her through her last days. Richard however, loved his mother and her death took a great toll on the fifteen year old. Rose blocked out the memory of ever having a father, only his childhood sweetheart Ruby Grey knew the truth as they both left Christ's Crown in search of bigger things.
The two would get by living in motels and selling stolen cars to various criminal contacts in Phoenix, with Ruby trying to save money for what would one day be her "dream wedding" and Rose trying to get as much money as possible for reasons even he couldn't tell you.
Eventually the two would be forced to leave Phoenix under a cloud after a job went wrong and forced to look elsewhere for cash. Rose heard rumors of a highstakes card game somewhere in Huachuca City and the two made their way there. It was on this fateful night that the duo crossed paths with two other travellers; Billy and Jack aka The Walker Boys.
Stopping for the two hitchhikers, Rose and Billy quickly bonded and the two plotted to defraud several casinos of their money before moving onto the 'Big Game' in Huachuca. Their night eventually came and everything was going without a hitch, with Billy as a planted dealer and Ruby as a (albeit reluctant) scantily clad barmaid, until a sore loser at the table forced them to flee. During their legendary escape, the group were assisted by the caretaker at the H-City cemetary and local maniac, Joshua James Jackson... or Triple J for short. And we're not even sure that's right.
Triple J and the rest of the gang escaped local law enforcement and criminal henchman in J's modified hearse, with Richard Rose locked inside the coffin and Jack Walker giving a one fingered salute from the sunroof. A hearse with a sunroof. An idea of Triple J's state of mind.
The gang (now known as "The Huachuca City Gang") made their way through the deep south, looking for ways to earn a (dis)honest living. Eventually, Billy hit upon the idea of signing up to a local wrestling promotion as he and Jack had been trained, Rose had taken martial arts and Triple J was just insane. The five caused uproar in Dixie-Pro and began a bloody feud with The Clanton Boys (A group of inbred locals) which culminated in a brutal 8-person tag team match that the H-City Gang won.
Once again, having upset some major faces in the area, the gang was once again forced to flee, although this time going their seperate ways; with Rose and Ruby heading to New York, Billy and Jack carried on their merry way (appearing in various Indies) and Triple J falling off the globe completely. Rose and Ruby again started with their carjacking ways, eventually earning enough cash to live in relative comfort.
Although for some reason in March of 2008, Ruby contacted Billy Walker and asked him for a "favour". What this was has yet to be revealed, although it may have had something to do with recently released felon and FIW Superstar, Blake Orange. Ruby and Rose soon left New York under Ruby's orders and made their way back to Texas and Rose was signed by the recently reopened Neo-Gothic Industrial Wrestling promotion.
In NGIW, Rose was the dominant force, remaining undefeated during his tenure there and capturing their version of the world title (a crown). To this day Rose still maintains he melted the crown into a belt (this was later debunked). After a short reunion with Billy and Jack, NGIW folded leaving the four again without work. By a sheer fluke, Rose managed to contact Triple J (who hadn't been seen since Dixie-Pro) and informed him about NOVA Pro-Wrestling.
The two soon made their way to Los Angeles, with Billy joining them soon after. Now the Huachuca City Gang is almost fully reunited and ready to raise hell!
